Synopsis:

Ten pairs of contestants arrive at the Fortune Hotel - an invitingly luxurious setting for a genuinely once-in-a-lifetime stay. In each of the hotel rooms is an identical briefcase. Eight cases are empty. One contains an ‘early checkout’ and one contains a HUGE cash sum. Tension builds as each pair must select a room key at random. The couples then head to their rooms and, in a dramatic moment, open their cases. The pair that finds the money instantly become ‘The Stakeholders’. The money is theirs if, and only if, they can keep hold of that case for the next eight days. Another pair will find the ‘Early Checkout’. If they can’t get rid of their case before the end of the day, they will be leaving the hotel with nothing. Each day, the guests will participate in two very different games – the Room Service Challenge and the Day Trip Challenge. After eight episodes, one pair will have the case with the cash and will leave The Fortune Hotel with a fortune.
