Synopsis:

In the fall of 1945, six months after the end of World War II and the collapse of the Nazi regime, Allied officials put top German leaders on trial for crimes committed before and during the war. This trial would become the first time in history that defeated world leaders were held criminally accountable for their actions.

But what most people do not know is that the entire 11-month-long proceeding was recorded on more than 2,000 audio discs. These discs - which total more than 775 hours of content - have now been transferred in full for the first time.

NAZIS AT NUREMBERG: The Lost Testimony uses this unheard trial audio to craft a fascinatingly compelling look at the Nazi leaders and their criminal actions. The actual testimony of infamous personalities like Hermann Goering, Albert Speer, Rudolf Hess and others shed new light on wartime events. Witnesses and victims also step forward to reveal fresh details about criminal plots, illegal orders, mass atrocities and more.
