Synopsis:

My Daughter’s Killer is the extraordinary story of André Bamberski’s 29-year pursuit of justice for his 14-year-old daughter, Kalinka, who died at the hand of Dieter Krombach, her stepfather, a revered German medical doctor.
The film explores the limits of justice, abuse of power in the medical profession and the silence that surrounds crimes committed against women. In depth interviews and powerfully evocative reconstructions take us on Bamberski’s journey as he reveals the lengths he went to to try and bring Krombach to justice: however, flyering Krombach's hometown and alerting authorities in Germany failed. Although a trial in France found Krombach guilty, the German authorities refused to extradite him and he remained at large. Over the years other women came forward, but still he faces no charges for Kalinka’s death. In a chilling TV interview, he reveals his complete lack of remorse.
The film culminates in the brutal kidnapping of Krombach and a trial that shocked the world.
